I am really pleased with my experience at Night and Day Acton. I had a week of nerve pain from a botched filling done by my dentist. The filling was so deep, it was hitting a nerve and pretty much on a major artery line as explained by dr Pavi. I couldn’t take it anymore and called Night and Day which I had seen advertised on google. I am so glad I called. I could not take another night of nerve pain and I was able to book a same day appointment within a couple of hours. I went in and had the problem tooth extracted. I was very nervous as I just had a filling a couple of weeks before and that made me never want to visit the dentist again. But Dr Pavi and his team made sure I was comfortable, talked me through everything, gave me the relevant options and I felt empowered to make my decision with no pressure either which way. My husband was also supportive and I felt more at ease. The procedure was so quick and pain free. I had lots of injections to make sure (I was happy for that - I didn’t want anymore trauma!). So thanks to the team, Dr Pavi, Siru and Sarah as well as an encouraging young lady doing work experience that morning! You all were fantastic and things are healing up well. We are available for appointments 24 hours a day. While our standard operating times are between 7am and 11pm, we can still see you at anytime you like and are more than happy to book patients in 24 hours a day.
For appointments outside of our standard operating hours, we do charge a call out fee to be seen.
Please note:
The call out fee does include the cost for the consultation, X-rays and first line of treatment required to get you out of pain for one tooth. Treatments included can be complex extractions, composite fillings or even the first stage of a root canal to get you out of pain.

If you’re in pain, it’s an emergency. You can also visit our emergency dentist if you have chipped, cracked or knocked out a tooth. We also help patients who have lost fillings, crowns, veneers or bridges. If you’ve broken or lost your denture, this is also an emergency. And finally, if you have recently had an extraction and you’re still in pain or the extraction site won’t stop bleeding.

No registration is required. The majority of our consultations are emergencies, and there is no requirement to be a registered patient to see our dentist. After your emergency appointment, you can return to your registered dentist for follow-up treatment.

Warm salt water rinses are very useful if you have swelling or some sort of infection, as salt water is a natural antiseptic and can reduce pain. Another temporary measure is taking over the counter painkillers, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, as this will slightly reduce any pain. Always consult with a professional before taking any medication.
Most people suffer from dental pain at night as blood flow to the head increases when you lie down to sleep. This causes pain from the swelling to increase. To help manage this pain, we recommend seeing a dentist as soon as possible to diagnose the issue with X-rays and create a treatment plan.
Unfortunately, toothache is not classed as a life threatening emergency so they will not be able to treat you. However, if you have any swelling that is affecting your ability to breathe, then we advise you to visit A&E.
